AGA has been the engineering consultant for a design/build team that has constructed or modernized five schools for the School District of Palm Beach County.  In 2007, we were awarded the Annual Civil Engineering contract for Palm Beach Community College and have provided engineering solutions for all four campuses. AGA has provided structural services to Palm Beach Atlantic University since 2006 on an as-needed basis.

Performed a forensic study of the structure of a concessions building that was damaged by fire.  Prepared a demolition plan for removal of all debris and structural components that were damaged beyond repair.  Plan included a shoring scheme, demolition sequence and details.

Boca Raton, Florida (2003)

Redesigned the site in accordance with current standards.  Site features included outdoor play areas, separated parking for faculty, buses and visitors and a new sanitary lift station.  On-site drainage was required to store a significant volume of stormwater due to the lack of existing drainage facilities in the surrounding area.

Provided civil engineering design and permitting services to modernize the site.  The work included total replacement of all on-site water and sewer mains and paving and drainage, as well as design and permitting for water and sanitary mains located in the adjacent street right-of-ways.

As part of design/build team, developed and designed water and sanitary sewer infrastructure, while protecting and minimizing disturbance of on-site wetland habitat.

Civil engineering design and permitting for 34 acre campus.  This work included grading and drainage for the athletic fields, design of parking lots, driveways and off-site turn lanes, underground utility layouts, design and permitting of retention ponds and culvert crossings for entrance drives.
